Towards better blogging

I have been blogging for quite sometime and here is what I have learnt to keep the audience engaged and coming back for more. You should always think about who is reading and why. Just like in marketing, it is the visitor/reader who is important and not you. So to summarize, ask yourself these questions about your blog.
  1. Who will read your blog? (What readers is it addressed to?)
  2. What is the reader’s main concern? (Time, delivery, reliability, quality, efficiency)
  3. What is the character of the reader?
  4. What motivates the reader?
  5. What is their one greatest fear? … or greatest fears
  6. How many different influences must the blog appeal to?
Then fill up those loose ends and you have a strong product to sell. Add some glitter and good marketing you should be blazing. Good luck.
