While the topic of depression is doing the rounds, let us look at how we can reverse the trend and make things positive.  Here are some tips to harness positive energy in your life. Add more to this list if you can! Here we go.

  1. Be a positive person:
You. Yes, you are the most important energy creator in your house. So, if you are negative, or thinking or acting negatively then how can good energy flourish in your home? Think positive and act positive and be positive in life. Be the most positive person you know!
  2. Have positive emotion and act with positivity:
    • Play with kids
    • Laugh quite often
    • Be creative in your work
    • Enjoy little things in your life
    • Share your abundance with others
    • Count your blessings
    • Be in touch with your loved ones
  3. Learn to move on:
If you are still angry with someone then learn to move on and forgive them. Because it will release energy from your heart and you can dedicate this energy to do better things in life. Otherwise, part of the energy will always be stuck in the past incident that will always bring bitterness in your life.
  4. Make money from the ethical sources:
If you make money by unethical means, then that money will never be able to give you mental peace. Sooner or later it will bring negativity in your life. Try to treat on sincere paths, ones that you are proud of.
  5. Remove negative energy from home:
There are many things that you can do to remove the negative and blocked energy from home. For example, you can remove the trash from your home. Clean your home. Give away things that you might not need and other might love to take. Declutter your home, especially things that don’t bring in positive energy.
  6. Bonus - Devote more time to your family:
Spend time with your family, talking, dining, cooking, cleaning, helping with homework, household chores, make tea… Do more things that bring you close to the family and help you relax, detox and have a fresh free mind.

A home where people love each other, share a good laugh, help each other in troubles, joys is a positive one. May you have a blessed home that oozes positive energy!

Book Review: Introducing the Other 'AI': Anthropology Intelligence

Introducing the Other “AI”: Anthropology Intelligence – SAPIENS

My CEO handed over this book to me and asked me to read it and and it was worth the time.

Introducing the Other 'AI': Anthropology Intelligence is an exceptional work of scholarship that brings much-needed attention to the intersection of anthropology and artificial intelligence. The authors have done a remarkable job of presenting a compelling argument for the importance of incorporating anthropological insights into the development of AI systems.

The book is well-structured, with each chapter building on the previous one to create a comprehensive and nuanced view of the topic. The authors provide a thorough review of the current state of AI research, highlighting the limitations and biases of existing approaches. They then introduce the concept of "anthropology intelligence" as a means of incorporating cultural and social factors into AI systems.

One of the strengths of this book is the way it brings together diverse perspectives and disciplines, weaving together insights from anthropology, computer science, psychology, and philosophy. The authors provide numerous examples of how anthropology intelligence can be applied to real-world problems, such as reducing bias in hiring and improving healthcare outcomes.

The book provides numerous real-world examples of how anthropology intelligence can be applied to AI systems.

One example is the use of facial recognition technology in security and law enforcement. Many AI systems that use facial recognition have been found to exhibit racial and gender biases, which can result in harm to certain individuals and communities. However, an anthropology intelligence approach would consider the cultural and social factors that contribute to these biases, and work to address them at the root cause.

“The last thing a fish would ever notice would be water.”—attributed to anthropologist Ralph Linton

For example, an anthropology intelligence approach might involve conducting ethnographic research to better understand the social and cultural contexts in which facial recognition systems are used. This could involve talking to people from different communities, observing how these systems are used in practice, and identifying any patterns of bias or discrimination. Armed with this information, AI researchers could then work to design more culturally-sensitive and unbiased facial recognition systems.

Overall, "Introducing the Other 'AI': Anthropology Intelligence" is a must-read for anyone interested in the future of AI and its impact on society. The authors provide a powerful and convincing argument for the need to incorporate anthropological insights into AI development, and their work has important implications for the design and implementation of AI systems. This book is a game-changer, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the intersection of technology, culture, and society.

While the book is very powerful in delivering an argument in the favor of Anthropological Intelligence, here are some potential critiques that someone may have about the book:

The book may overemphasize the role of anthropology in AI research, and not adequately address other disciplines such as computer science, mathematics, and engineering.

The authors may be overly optimistic about the potential for anthropology intelligence to address bias and other issues in AI systems. While cultural insights can be helpful, they may not fully solve these complex issues.

Some readers may find the book's language and writing style to be overly academic and technical, which may make it difficult for a general audience to engage with the material.

The book may not fully consider the potential ethical implications of using anthropology intelligence in AI systems, particularly related to privacy and data protection. The authors may need to provide a more comprehensive discussion of the ethical issues involved in incorporating cultural and social factors into AI design.

Should you read it? Definitely yes.

The well in Jallianwalah Bagh

Gratitude is the least we can offer to the brave freedom fighters who gave their lives for the independence and freedom of our beloved country. Their unwavering dedication and selfless sacrifices paved the way for the freedom and prosperity that we enjoy today.

The fight for India's independence was a long and difficult journey, but it was one that was filled with immense courage, resilience, and determination. Countless freedom fighters laid down their lives to ensure that future generations of Indians could live in a free and democratic nation.

It is our responsibility to honor the sacrifices made by our forefathers and to be grateful for the freedom and opportunities we have today. Let us never forget the sacrifices made by our brave freedom fighters and always strive to uphold the values of democracy, equality, and justice that they fought for. We owe them a debt of gratitude that can never truly be repaid, but we can honor their legacy by cherishing our freedom and working towards a better and brighter future for our country.

The well in Jallianwala Bagh is a stark reminder of the brutality of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre that took place on April 13, 1919, in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, during the British Raj. The well is located in the northwestern corner of the park and is considered one of the most harrowing sites of the tragedy.

On that fateful day, British troops under the command of General Reginald Dyer opened fire on a crowd of unarmed and peaceful protestors who had gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh. Many people, in an attempt to escape the hail of bullets, jumped into the well. Tragically, the well was only about 20 feet deep, and as a result, many people suffocated and died from injuries sustained during the fall. The well is now a grim symbol of the horrors of that day and stands as a reminder of the inhumane acts committed by the British government.

Today, the well has been preserved and serves as a memorial to the victims of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. A plaque with a brief description of the incident has been placed next to the well, and visitors can pay their respects by offering flowers and lighting candles. The well is a sobering reminder of the tragedy and the struggles faced by those who fought for India's independence from British rule.

Eternally grateful and thankful. Jai Hind.

Wagah Border Experience

Visiting the Wagah Border, the frontier between India and Pakistan, is a profound experience that is hard to put into words. The sense of patriotism and national pride that fills the air is palpable, and the feeling of unity and brotherhood that comes from being surrounded by thousands of people chanting "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" is an unforgettable experience.

As I approached the border, I was greeted by the sight of the Indian and Pakistani flags waving proudly in the wind. The energy of the crowd was electric, and the atmosphere was charged with emotion. As the sun began to set, the ceremony began, and the crowd erupted into a chorus of patriotic slogans.

The beating of drums, the blaring of trumpets, and the synchronized movements of the soldiers from both sides of the border left me in awe. The sight of the soldiers performing the flag-lowering ceremony was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by countless brave men and women to keep our country safe.

As the ceremony ended, the crowd burst into a spontaneous rendition of the national anthem, and I felt a lump in my throat as I joined in. In that moment, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride and unity with my fellow countrymen. The feeling of belonging to something greater than myself, of being part of a nation with a rich history and a bright future, was truly humbling.

Visiting the Wagah Border is an experience that every Indian should have at least once in their lifetime. It is a testament to the unbreakable spirit of our nation and a reminder that, despite our differences, we are all united in our love for our country. The sight of thousands of people chanting "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" is an unforgettable moment that will stay with me forever.

Abundant peace and security

Jeremiah 33:6 is a powerful verse that offers a message of hope and redemption. The verse says, "Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security."

This verse is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for a brighter future. No matter how dire the situation may seem, there is always the possibility for healing and redemption.

In the context of the book of Jeremiah, the verse is a message of hope to the people of Israel who had been exiled to Babylon. Despite their circumstances, God promises to restore them and to bring them back to their homeland. The verse reminds us that God is always with us, even in the most difficult times, and that he is always working for our good.

The message of Jeremiah 33:6 is just as relevant today as it was in ancient times. We all go through difficult times in our lives, whether it be personal struggles, health issues, or other challenges. But even in those moments, we can find hope in the knowledge that God is with us and that he is working for our healing and restoration.

So let us hold on to the message of Jeremiah 33:6, knowing that God's love and grace are always present, and that he is always working to bring health, healing, peace, and security into our lives. Let us trust in him, even in the darkest of times, and know that he will never abandon us.
