Drop that apple

Organic gardening is a safe way to grow what you want. Be careful while buying vegetables and fruits. You never know what you are eating.

Here is a beautiful article from http://www.treehugger.com/about the most toxic of fruits & vegetables and what you should be doing.

Dirty Dozen: The 12 to buy organic (in order of pesticide load, apples being the worst offenders).

1. Apples
2. Celery
3. Sweet bell peppers
4. Peaches
5. Strawberries
6. Imported nectarines
7. Grapes
8. Spinach
9. Lettuce
10. Cucumbers
11. Domestic blueberries
12. Potatoes

How do we get out of this?

1. Opt for organic foods whenever possible
2. Have a small organic garden/hydrophonics in your balcony or terrace
3. Grow a community garden
