Thank you Sachin

Wordsworth said... "The child is the father of man".

A true disciple, rather student of cricket  mastered his art and showed today that dreams come true. #thankyousachin

What you saw today is success, adulation and honours. What don't see is the hours of arduous practice, injuries, pain, missed family time, friends, sleep and personal space.

Keep running, learning, be humble, stay true and love what you do, love your parents and success will chase you.

Sachin Tendulkar! Well left.

All the best.

Five steps of meditation

My dear friend Pooja Venugopal posted this on her facebook page and it reflects what I was about to post here. Read on...

The Five Steps of Meditation
  1. In the beginning, meditation is just a relaxation
  2. In the second step, meditation is something that gives you energy; you feel more energetic
  3. In the third step, meditation brings creativity
  4. In the fourth step, mediation brings enthusiasm and joy
  5. The fifth step of meditation is indescribable, you simply can't describe it. It is that oneness with the whole universe. This is the fifth step of meditation, and don’t stop before that.

Keep running!

Right place at the right time is lucky. Nothing worked because of you. You need to be constantly adding, chasing, running, improving, creating and contributing. Unless you add value, you aren't worthy.

Found this pic online and it makes perfect sense.

  • What are you contributing to your work, your family and to your self?
  • What are your goals for this year?

2013

What an year 2012 was!

I moved to a completely new sector from what I was doing and and started working at Samskruti Builders. By the grace of God, a good team and wonderful product excelled at many things this year. God has been good to me as he always is and he blessed me more than what I could ever ask for! Thank you Lord.

I have started running again and lost a lot of weight I had gained over the last two years! That's about 17 kgs in 60 days(42 to 34 on the jeans size scale).

2013 is here and here is wishing you a happy new year, new challenges and a lot of plans, dreams, commitments and promises.

Keep running!

Some things in life are tough till you try them out. God created everyone with the same potential and creativity. Some learn to harness it faster and some don't. Your potential is not determined by what you were till now. What you chose to do today, tomorrow and every day from now on, is what makes your future.

Dream on, move ahead and keep running!

My cocaine pill

On nippy March evenings, you can also use a little sweat if you can gain fitness. It can brighten the comforting face and savory shape that our chilled bodies still crave.

Every time I tie my shoe laces, I find myself asking this question. Do I really need to run, jog and slog to get a figure that I always wanted to? Ain't I enough handsome? Why don't I skip the run for today and watch cricket instead? Sipping a can of chilled Coke with popcorn, or grilled chicken can be a cool combination.

After a long day's work, I am totally strained and drained. Running would just make it worse and my body, sorer! But the satisfaction in sweating makes me have fun. Jogging a few rounds with friends chatting about non-related topics like the new item song, an ad in the paper, new offers online, different kinds of fish and stuff in the park helps me unwind the tension that is built up and cool my senses. I have given up on the iPod as it makes me feel bound, literally. I reach home, take a warm & cold shower; relieved and untoxicated.

Finding a hobby that relaxes my mind, helps me cope with the work pressures is awesome and has made me a better person. All this jogging helps me gorge on the chicken, sweets and whatever I want with ease for longer periods of time.

Jogging is my cocaine pill. What is yours? The warm bright summer is coming. And I am loving it!
