Monday blues: Bloom in diversity

Wait, is it Monday already? What the hell happened to my vacation and weekend? While everyone around are getting ready to celebrate festivals, I am working :) Guess what I am loving it. Whatever you say, the joy in knowing you are wanted and loved is the most important satisfaction in your life. When the going gets hard, the tough need to work harder to pass it through.

This Monday, turn your adversities, struggles in to joy. Look for a positive side and move on. You need to look to bloom, germinate and grow in adversity and the result, trust me, is amazing!

Smile because you are in adversity and while everyone expects you to fail, you can turn it to something beautiful.

Commotion, confusion and chaos

There are times in all our lives when there is commotion, confusion and chaos all around. Then is the time when you feel helpless, forgotten and lost in eternity. This is the time when you ought to remember that your Lord remembers you and hold you in his palms and his caring, loving and ever gracious countenance is looking down upon you to give you strength and wisdom.

Be strong and wait upon the Lord to show you his grace.

 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; 

 I will be exalted among the nations, 

 I will be exalted in the earth.” 

 Psalm 46:10

Faithful Forever!

Read this in a christian blogpost applies to our daily life as well. Stay faithful, focused, stay bright and stay alert. Leave the rest to the Lord.

From the very beginning of our Christian walk and work, we must learn to keep our eyes on the final day of rewards and not keep looking for immediate blessings and benefits. This is how we can be patient amidst all odds and stay faithful till the end.

 A lone missionary was preaching in the cold wilds of Alaska. An explorer asked him why he was wasting his life in a dreary place like that? The missionary replied, "Results are not my business. I leave the results with God. I must be faithful and do my best for God. Someday results will come!"

Faithfulness is rewarded. May not be from the people you know but from the Lord.

A good life

For life's an experience God's children go through

That's made up of gladness and much sadness too...

Drill a man

Rain in its season

Had an excellent vacation and am back to blogging. Let me begin with the promises I got for this year, which incidentally is the year of the Tiger :)

1. "I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit" --- Leviticus 26:4
2. "Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence" --- Psalms 91:3

At every turn in life God gives you a chance to choose between good and bad, love and hate and what you choose determines the outcomes and blessings you have in store. All my life, every time I had a choice, I chose love, faith, trust and compassion and I agree that I have never left alone. I suggest you try the same this year. Choose love, bear pain with a smile on your face, spread love, joy and happiness wherever you go. Try and change the lives of people, processes, things after you touch. Don't be a crossover, be a bridge to betterment. Be the change you expect others to be. Give someone a chance to realize their dreams, potential, help them grow. Choose the right choices.

The greatest treasures on Earth are invisible to our eyes but found by the heart. There is a time for everything and this is a time to build, a time to heal, a time to embrace, a time to keep and a time to mend. 30 years down the line, you will find, as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have really lived are the ones you have done things in a spirit of love. You never know which ones would turn out to be your Promising Moments!
