Know-ember challenge



This November, I put myself to this test. Can I bring you 30 topics/arguments/opinions that would come one at a time? I hope to do that and I hope you would find it as interesting and captivating as I hope it would be. So here it goes the first one!


Kenaf or Gongura in Telugu is a famous ingredient in andhra. One of the most sought out dishes for pickles and curry, kenaf brings in a a soury tingle to the dishes while balancing the fibre content when cooked along high protein ingredients. Now you didn't know gongura is called Kenaf. Did you?

Is it really 'Green'

Food, Car, bedsheets, sustainable flooring, recycled glass, bottles, water... this list is endless. The words hint at something lovely and healthy, but what do they mean exactly? Do people try to cheat you when they say this is 'Green' stuff and you need to shell out more money when buying these products? How can you be sure about that? Well read on...

  • Check about the brand before you buy at home
  • Energy consumption when using a product should be less
  • Look for an authentic story to tell, something of substantial
  • Look for certificates/labels by UN, WTO, etc.
  • Don't buy if the product tries to tell a confusing, hard to believe, vague story
