Internet moms or normal moms: Moms are smarter than you
Handling pressures of this world on a daily basis is not easy. But handling pressures and you is not easy at all. However for thousands of years, parents, especially moms have successfully handled all the pressure and yet never complained.
Google depicts a wonderful story with its new ad and thus reaches my core. Loved the ad.

Balanced ad by Volvo
Volvo comes out with an iconic ad to show off their stability and I love it. It is simple, path breaking and easy to understand while stressing on its principles - life is full pf potholes, ditches and problems but you can build up a body to perfection and then win over all the obstacles.
Life is more valuable when you are passing through troubles as you build the most important element then - character. Van Damme just blends in. Good job Volvo!

15 cynical minimalistic illustrations that reflect our times
Eduardo Salles is a brilliant designer born in Mexico City in 1987. He is also an advertiser, designer, illustrator, writer and professor at the Miami Ad School. As advertiser he won numerous awards, including the prestigious Cannes Lion. He runs a website called Cinismo Ilustrado, where he regularly publish clever and hilarious illustrations garnished with a tip of cynicism.
Not only these pieces are utterly brilliant, they are also wonderfully designed with a nice minimalistic style.
The illustrations featured in this post are the ones that caught our attention the most, as they are related to the times in which we live. We bet you’ll recognize yourself in more than one of them.

Happy birthday yaara!
One of the best ads I have seen this year.
Has a simple story line which you can beat to the end and has even simpler music, simple acting and good editing then how did it succeed.
By taking the simplest gestures you choose to do during any day of your life and showing the impact you could see while harping on a sensitive lost friendship and regaining loved ones, this ad by Google tells you an amazing story - simplicity is the new success mantra.
I think this is a great take away for marketeers like me. Let me try and see if we can make something I like... a list!

- Keep it simple
- Keep it local, global and easy to follow
- Show simple controlled emotions
- Let people relate, give something usable, doable, real
- Use natural elements which don't need to dominate the theme
- Leave a clean branding image to carry on after the communique is done
- Yes, you need to advertise!

Celebrating freedom
For years women had to adjust or live up to the fact that jeans are men's domain. Not any more. I am looking at this beautiful ad and am loving it just for the fact that the need is deciphered and conveyed to you. So even if you didn't know that it existed, you now know and you are now aware.
I love the way it is shot, in different elements, shaded, leaving a lot to imagination and mystique look. It would go to the top of my best ads list for this year.
As a marketer your job doesn't end in showing how better your product is in comparison to x, y and z brands but it is in deducing the requirement and the hidden need and highlight that to showcase how your product fits in. Isn't it the most important element of your job? Isn't it the only one?

Simplicity is the new complexity
I was bowled over by this ad from Aircel. It is so simple and beautifully designed and yet so neatly conveys what they wanted to say. McCann Erikson's new autograph ad showcases the old concept of simplifying things to make them easier to understand and increasing the credibility. I must say this is awesome.
Sometimes it is important to be straightforward and simple to convey more effectively.

Brilliance can be selfless
MJ shared this link and I couldn't just resist sharing it with you. Unilever has come with some brilliant ads in the past but this is beautiful and simply made.
Some takeaways from this ad:
- I am definitely washing my hands more frequently
- Ads that say I don't need to buy anything attract more shares
- You needn't be a buyer now, you needn't be a beneficiary now to like this
- Look at advertisement as an investment
