You’ve
done it before and you can do it now. See the positive possibilities.
Redirect the substantial energy of your frustration and turn it into
positive, effective, unstoppable determination.” – Ralph Marston
Here,
I’m going to do a quick throwback to my high school physics to drive my
point home a little bit deeper. The law of conservation of energy
states that “the total amount of energy in a system remains constant
over time”. In essence, energy can neither be created nor destroyed: it
can only be transformed from one state to another. So you can transfer
electrical energy to heat energy as in your cooker at home or chemical
energy to electrical energy as in your batteries.
The
point here is, you get a lot of different vibes from the world around
you. Some negative, some positive. The truth is, you don’t need anything
but positive energy in your life. If you think negative thoughts,
you’ll yield negative results. Think positive thoughts and yield
positive results. The only way to convert negative energy to positive is
to be a positive thinker. When you get any words, reactions or attitude
from anyone that brings you down or kills your morale, look for the
positive side of it to encourage yourself and focus on that. No matter
how minute or ridiculous the positive side seems, focus on it and don’t
let yourself be bogged down by the negative.
Don’t
get deceived by the school of thought that says focusing on the
negative is being ‘realistic’. You can be realistic by thinking of how
to remedy the situation and make it better or totally eliminate it.
Doesn’t mean you’re not being realistic, you’re just working on a plan
to convert that energy for your sanity. That in itself is a positive
thing and should make it easier for you to focus on being happy.
Conclusively,
negative energy CAN be converted. Actively train your mind to see the
opportunities or positive side of every situation and you could
significantly alter the course of your life.
